Why we pour slowly
OctoberA slower pour gives the coffee time to open up. It also gives us a minute to look out of the window.
Coffee, notes and quiet weekends.
Slow Morning began as a small weekend coffee stand and a paper notebook. We like unhurried mornings, honest ingredients and the sound of a kettle in a quiet kitchen. This site is where we keep our menu, our notes and a few recipes we return to.

Cardamom, a little brown sugar and patience. The dough rests overnight, the morning does the rest.
We write down every recipe by hand. Mistakes stay on the page; that is how the good ones are found.
Saturdays and Sundays, from early morning until the buns are gone. Weekdays we rest.
